Birding Lake Sebago Boat Launch
When birding the Sebago Boat Launch, be aware that the parking lot can fill quickly on summer weekends, so arriving early is recommended.
The perimeter of the lot is worth exploring. Surprisingly, the area behind the portable restroom has been quite productive in past years, with sightings including Hooded Warbler, Cerulean Warbler, and Acadian Flycatcher. Cedar Waxwings also seem to favor the trees near the porta-john area.
After birding the lot, look for the trail just to the left of the launch. This trail continues through the area and leads toward the old Sebago Beach, offering additional habitat to explore.
